Summary: If you are a non-smoker, do yourself a favour and skip this place. The hotel uses central air conditioning and the rooms on the non-smoking floor (level 7) smell musky with a stale cigarette stench. We had 3 rooms in my group and all the rooms were the same even when we changed rooms. In addition, most of the service staff were non-Japanese, they could not communicate well and did not appear to be well trained and quite rude. When I tried to gently share some feedback with the reception staff, she simply grunted and ignored me. Of the dozens of Hotels I’ve stayed in across Japan, this has to be the worst.
